My philosophy of working with my patients is to first and foremost clarify the diagnosis. It can take few visits to do so and I like to spend time with you going over few things from past history. I believe in the importance of a Bio-psycho-social profile and getting to know different facets of your life - It is very important for me to get to know you as a person not just someone with symptoms of a disorder . I like to stay in touch with other treatment providers such as medical doctors and Psychotherapists as I believe coordination of care is very important.
I am Board certified in General Psychiatry and Child and adolescent Psychiatry. I operate by keeping close contact with parents and schools as well as pediatricians and psychotherapists . I consider myself an expert in not only ADHD and Mood disorders in children I do have expertise in the areas of Autism and Developmental Disabilities.
I believe in team approach when it comes to working with my patients and we need to operate as a team. Me , my patients and my staff. My goal is to provide them the treatment and have a friendly working relationship where they feel safe ,welcomed and express self freely.
