I have over 30 years experience helping people with feelings such as anxiety, depression, panic or other troubling feelings. Whether one is dealing with a relationship issue, work issue, self-esteem issue, or life change issue, working in the privacy of a confidential setting, allows for the free expression of feelings. Gaining a better understanding of feelings, can often lead to insights that help resolve issues or underlying conflicts. Sometimes problems are more situational or short-term, and I work to help in those circumstances also.
I am a trained psychiatrist and psychoanalyst, and I also have expertise in medication management. I have taught student psychoanalytic trainees at a major psychoanalytic center. I specialize in medication management and talk therapy. While talk therapy can solve many issues, when appropriate, the use of medication is recommended and discussed.
I offer convenient Telepsychiatry (phone visits and/or video) therapeutic sessions for any resident of New Jersey or Pennsylvania. If you are limited by time, or geography, you can use your laptop, desktop, or phone, and we can work together in the privacy of your chosen location, to address your concerns.
