As a contemplative psychiatric nurse practitioner, I integrate Western medicine, psychotherapy, and neuroscience with Buddhist and yoga philosophy, mindfulness and compassion-based practices. My approach is collaborative and comprehensive, and I can prescribe psychotropic medications or recommend supplements if that might be helpful in your process.
When we take the courageous journey inside ourselves, whether for healing, greater self-awareness, or liberation, it helps to have an environment imbued with trust, safety, curiosity, and care.
