Greetings. I am a different kind of psychiatrist. I can prescribe medication. But I also help people become well through psychotherapy and other natural treatment methods so they can avoid or get off medications. If you are interested, I will collaborate with you to heal your mind and body by strengthening your own inner, self-healing resources, for that is the only way that any treatment can help you get well.
I treat those 18 and older with any psychiatric difficulty. I offer conventional psychiatric drugs; a variety of psychotherapy models, the precise blend tailored to your needs; homeopathic medicine; nutritional and orthomolecular prescriptions; chronotherapy (the therapeutic alteration of sleep-wake cycles and light exposure). I also treat couples.
An M.D. from the Columbia College of Physicians & Surgeons, psychiatric training at Boston University Hospital, certification by the American Board of Psychiatry & Neurology; certification as Homeopathic Master Clinician, two published books on psychotherapy and healing.
