I work by helping people understand themselves more fully so that long lasting gains may be reached in personal and professional settings. Through learning that takes place in the working relationship with me, long term personal growth can be achieved free of much, if any, need for medication treatment. A judicious approach to psychotropic medication treatment is used in my practice. Modern psychoanalytic techniques are commonly put to use in my practice and I believe that in working openly together we may achieve a great deal. In addition, holistic approaches are discussed and are sometimes recommended.
My residency training was completed at Jackson Memorial Hospital; and I have completed training in psychoanalysis at the Psychoanalytic Training Institute of the Contemporary Freudian Society in Washington D.C. In the past, I have treated those suffering from a variety of discomforts in both individual and group settings.
