I am a psychiatrist practicing with individuals experiencing a wide range of life stressors and feelings of sadness and anxiety. I believe that the human mind is more complex to be treated with medications only. My practice is based on treatment with psychotherapy +/- medications depending on each individual case. The visits are an hour long and the wait time in my waiting room is usually no longer than 10 minutes. I accept a limited number of patients at a time to ensure my availability to my patients.
I completed my psychiatric residency at Jackson Memorial Hospital- University of Miami. I also worked in research at the multidisciplinary center of chronic fatigue syndrome at University of Miami for several years.
I am an "out-of-network" physician for most medical plans and practices "fee-for-service" only to preserve physician autonomy and provide the most personalized service to patients possible.
