My approach is based on holistic psychiatry, which uses medications, therapy and complementary/alternative treatments to treat the whole person, not just the symptoms. I address the combined impact of sleep, lifestyle, relationships, nutrition and chronic medical conditions on well-being, and use cutting edge tools like genetic testing to guide personalized treatment with medication. I also offer TMS (transcranial magnetic stimulation) Therapy which is safe & FDA approved and is highly effective in treating depression, and anxiety associated with depression.
I have been in practice for over 20 years. I completed my psychiatric training at MCP/Hahnemann University in PA, University of Connecticut in CT and Yale University in CT. I am board certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology.
