I am a Board Certified Psychiatrist, licensed in New York. I have trained in psychodynamic psychotherapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, family and marital therapy. I have always felt that the brain is the most important and neglected organ in the body, and taking care of the brain is the key to well being. I take a holistic approach to care, evaluating for physical, nutrition, hormones, situational and psychodynamic causes of illness, whilst practicing evidence based psychiatry. Dr. Robert Whelpley M.D. is a board-certified in both Child and Adolescent and Adult Psychiatry. He attended Binghamton University for undergraduate studies and completed Medical School at Upstate Medical University in Syracuse, New York. He went on to complete Residency and Fellowship training at University of Rochester. He has worked with patients and families across the life span in a wide spectrum of settings including Inpatient, a variety of outpatient and emergency settings.

Dr. Amber Blue is a board-certified psychiatrist trained in Adult Psychiatry. She completed her residency at Yale University. She offers medication management in 30-minute follow-up visits informed by her psychotherapy experience. Occasionally she may believe additional therapy would be beneficial and therefore recommend you add a therapist to your care team for the best results.

Dr. Sinner is Board Certified in Psychiatry. He completed his psychiatry residency training at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center. He has practiced in various settings over his career including 5 years in inpatient settings in Vermont, where he also served as Medical Director for a state hospital psychiatric unit and taught medical students, followed by 5 years in an outpatient community mental health center in Pennsylvania before beginning his telepsychiatry practice serving individuals in Pennsylvania, Florida and New York.

Dr. Munoz is a board eligible adult psychiatrist who completed his medical training at Rutgers, New Jersey Medical School. Most recently, he recently completed his psychiatric residency at Mount Sinai Beth Israel. Over the course of his training, Dr. Munoz has practiced in various settings, including outpatient and inpatient, as well as in the psychiatric emergency room. Dr. Munoz has experience providing patients with compassionate psychiatric care through pharmacotherapy and supportive therapy. He has expertise in treating patients with depression, anxiety, bipolar, and psychotic disorders.

Dr. Telonis is a board-eligible adult psychiatrist who had been in practice for four years. Her focus is on using a collaborative approach and shared-decision making to help patient's achieve their treatment goals. Dr. Telonis typically provides monthly 30-minute follow-ups with a focus on medication management and supportive therapy. In some instances, she may recommend a separate therapist to help facilitate the best care possible.

Dr. Ellis is a staff psychiatrist for Talkiatry. He has been practicing for more than 28 years. He is board certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. In addition, Dr. Ellis is certified by the American Board of Adolescent Psychiatry and is a member of the American Society for Adolescent Psychiatry. Dr. Ellis provides comprehensive psychiatric evaluations. He offers follow-up medication management and incorporates supportive therapy and CBT in subsequent 30-minute visits. When indicated, Dr. Ellis encourages family involvement in the treatment process.

Dr. Syed Abbasi is an adult psychiatrist who completed his undergraduate education at Rutgers University and earned his medical degree at Ross University. He completed his psychiatry residency training at Creedmoor Psychiatric Center with training at New York-Presbyterian/Columbia University Medical Center, additionally as Chief Resident at Columbia University's Outpatient Adult Psychiatry Eye-6 clinic.

Dr. Ann Landowne is Board Certified in Adult, Adolescent, and Child Psychiatry. She has over thirty five years of experience helping people of all ages cope with a wide range of problems.

Richard Rise M.D. has created a successful career as a psychiatrist over the past 30 years. He has participated in a variety of treatment settings and has developed a wealth of experience at both prescribing medications and providing therapy, counseling, and even coaching. He takes an individual approach to treating others recognizing each individual as unique and worthy of love, respect, and acceptance. He is compassionate, non-judgmental, and truly enjoys helping others. Dr. Esha Garg is a board-eligible psychiatrist starting her post-graduate practice with Talkiatry. After completing an undergraduate degree in psychology at Johns Hopkins University, she completed her medical degree at Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences. She is a recent graduate from the Adult Psychiatry Residency at University of Kansas Medical Center.

Dr. Shelley Sellinger is a board certified psychiatrist in practice for 25 years. Her career has been devoted to serving both her local community as well as high risk and under served patients. As a pioneer and advocate for the use of telepsychiatry years prior to the pandemic she has presented at the American Telehealth conference as well as at grand rounds.

Dr. Lee Dockery serves as a general pscyhiatry provider for Talkiatry since joining in August 2022. He is board-eligible with expected certification in fall 2022, with further addiction psychiatry board-certification expected in 2023. He has been training and practicing psychiatry since 2018. Dr. Dockery’s practice emphasizes medication management within a therapy-informed framework, utilizing skills from Acceptance and Commitment therapy, mindfulness based therapies, motivation interviewing, and supportive therapy. Typically, he offers 60-minute new visits and 30-minute follow-up visits.

Faizan Syed, MD is a board-certified psychiatrist.
