Dr. Abid K. Nazeer M.D., FASAM is a practicing psychiatrist with board certifications in both psychiatry and addiction medicine. Dr. Nazeer is the Chief Medical Officer and Medical Director of Hopemark Health and is Vice President of the American Association of Psychedelics. In 2016, he founded Advanced Psychiatric Solutions, now Hopemark Health, pioneering the first dedicated outpatient psychiatric based ketamine clinic in the Midwest. Hopemark Health has successfully completed over 4500 IV ketamine treatments for mental health and substance use disorders in a comprehensive care model.

As a board certified psychiatric nurse practitioner and licensed clinical professional counselor, I use a biopsychosocial approach to provide comprehensive services that meet patients' complex needs. I use a teamwork approach with patients, and I believe that building supportive relationships is of utmost importance. I value straightforward communication and provide patients with clear information and options. Although medication is something that patients often find useful in managing their symptoms, I also help patients make other positive changes in their lives that can improve their wellness.

Dr. Amelia Merz strives to provide compassionate, patient-focused care in a collaborative process with you & your therapist to achieve recovery from mental health problems and substance abuse. She is board certified in Psychiatry and Addiction Medicine and is certified by Postpartum Support International in Perinatal Mental Health. She uses an evidence-based approach in her practice. She trained at the University of Minnesota where she completed both medical school and residency. Dr. Merz has practiced in many settings including outpatient clinics, residential treatment centers and inpatient psychiatric hospitals.

Alexandra Whitaker has treated patients with depression, postpartum depression, anxiety, PTSD, personality disorders, Bipolar depressive disorder, ADHD, and substance use. She believes that mental health is as important as physical health. She aims to deliver the best evidence-based care with respect and compassion. She has experience working with patients from various cultures and socioeconomic backgrounds and is fluent in Polish. She recognizes each person for their individuality which is reflected in her holistic treatment plans. She enjoys collaborating with patients to help them identify and overcome barriers.

Andreea Seicean, MD, PhD, MPH, completed her training at Case Western Reserve University, the Cleveland Clinic, and the University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC). She has extensive experience treating mood and anxiety disorders and addiction in teens and adults. Dr. Seicean has published more than forty articles and been the recipient of multiple awards from: The National Institute of Mental Health, The American Psychiatric Association and The American Association of Neurological Surgeons. She is an Adjunct Professor at the University of Illinois at Chicago where she continues to be active in research and teaches psychopharmacology.
