I am a board certified nurse practitioner who has been in practice for 12 years. I provide mental health care as a first line approach to health care and then branch patients, who desire, into primary care services as a secondary service. I use genetic testing and advanced lab work to assess general health and utilize behavioral approaches to chronic disease management.

Vaishali, a board-certified Physician Assistant, graduated from North Carolina State University with a Bachelor of Science in Microbiology and Masters of Physiology. Driven by a deep compassion for medicine, she later earned her Master of Physician Assistant Practice degree from Campbell University. Vaishali thrives on building open and trusting relationships with her patients, emphasizing active listening, empathy, and individualized care. As a firm believer of mind-body connection, Vaishali emphasizes the importance of both healthy lifestyle choices, strong social bonds, and spirituality in promoting mental well-being.

Jordan is a board certified Psychiatric and Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. She believes in patient-centered care, not only trusting her own knowledge but using the patient’s opinions and goals to mediate care in hopes to overall improve the individual’s daily life. She feels that involving the individual who seeks care with every decision will bring the individual closer to their goals, improve how they feel overall, and improve the outcome of care. She promotes healthy eating, exercise, and calming techniques such as meditation and yoga.

After graduating with a Masters in Physician Assistant Studies from Eastern Virginia Medical School, Kate spent years working in Emergency Medicine treating patients from all backgrounds and life experiences during some of their darkest moments. She is motivated by empathy and a deep understanding of the significance of mental health. She envisions a career devoted to breaking down stigmas surrounding mental health, promoting awareness, and implementing effective therapeutic interventions to empower individuals on their journey towards mental wellness.

Corbin transitioned to outpatient psychiatric care in 2020, and has been practicing in behavioral health ever since! His goal was to pursue a career in mental healthcare in order to help alleviate the shortage of mental healthcare providers in this country. He feels that it is extremely important to help normalize the conversation of our mental health in our daily lives!

Dianna Smith, MSN, PMHNP-B is a board-certified Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with more than 10 years of professional nursing experience caring for psychiatric, mental health/behavioral, developmental/intellectual disability, and substance abuse clients in the community and acute settings. She loves providing direct care and values her expanded capacity to serve as a Provider.

She completed medical school at the University of South Carolina and Residency in Psychiatry at University of North Carolina Hospitals. She has always enjoyed this aspect of being a Psychiatrist, spending time getting to know patients, unfolding and understanding together the complex interplay of medical and Psychosocial events that create the symptoms we focus on in treatment.
