I am a Board Certified General Psychiatrist and have ample experience in the evaluation and medical treatment of multiple psychiatric disorders, including those affecting mood, anxiety, and ADD/ADHD. I understand many of these conditions are often caused by both physical and psychological factors and I will work with you on developing the treatment plan that best fits your needs, let that be medications, counseling, or the combination of both. I am fully bilingual in English and Spanish. Visits are by appointment only and at this time I don't offer weekend hours.

Dr. Alexis Kropf is a board-eligible adult psychiatrist beginning her practice at Talkiatry after four years of clinical experience in residency. Dr. Kropf primarily focuses on providing medication management during 30-minute follow-up visits, weaving in elements of supportive therapy according to the needs of her clients. When additional therapy is indicated to promote recovery, Dr. Kropf may recommend that her clients work with a therapist as part of the treatment team. Dr. Kropf credits her undergraduate education at Southwestern University for strengthening her curiosity about and dedication to serving others.

She has done extensive research on psychiatry during her PhD in Neuropsychopharmacology and a Masters in Neuroscience. She is bilingual in Spanish and English. She incorporates different therapy modalities and evidence-based treatments, tailored to each person’s needs. She enjoys applying her knowledge in neuroscience and pharmacology into her clinical practice and believes combination of medication and psychotherapy yields best treatment outcomes.
