Penny Greaves has over twenty years of Nursing experience and received her bachelor's in nursing in 2007 and a Master of Nursing with a primary care nurse practitioner certificate in 2010 from Ryerson University, in Toronto, Canada. She obtained her Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) degree in 2021 from National University and is dual certified with the ANCC in psychiatry and the AANP in family practice. Dr. Mills was born and raised in Southern CA. She studied Microbiology as an undergraduate at University of California, San Diego (UCSD). She attended Creighton University in Omaha NE for post Baccalaureate Studies and Received her Medical Degree from Medical College of Ohio, Toledo. She completed her internship at Harbor UCLA with a foundation of medical-neurosurgical rotations before returning to UCSD for Psychiatry residency and Consultation Liaison fellowship training. Dr. Mills has worked in Community Psychiatry as a clinician and administratively as a Behavioral Health Director.
