I am an ANCC board-certified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner. I first earned my Bachelor of Science in Nursing at the University of Delaware. I served as a nurse in several fields and joined the Army Reserve as a medic. In 2021, I earned my Master of Science in Nursing at National University. I specialize in psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and therapy for patients with depression, anxiety, mood and personality disorders, attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), and posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD).

Ms. Ottah is a Board-Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner who graduated from Adelphi University with a Master’s in Nursing. With over 10 years of experience as a registered nurse, she has primarily worked in the challenging environment of correctional health, providing care to patients with severe mental health problems, including schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, and personality disorders. Ms. Straaik has a diverse academic background, including a Master of Science from The Ohio State University, and a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Writing, Literature, and Publishing and a Master of Arts in Writing and Publishing from Emerson College. She is extremely passionate about providing empathetic and empowering care that respects and values our unique life experiences. I graduated from St. Joseph’s University with a Bachelor of Arts in English and minors in Chemistry and Behavioral Neuroscience. I completed my medical school training at Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine (LECOM) and my psychiatry residency at SUNY Upstate Medical University. I am experienced in treating a variety of psychiatric disorders in adults of all ages, as well as young adults, having spent time treating students in the SUNY college system.

Victoriya utilizes a culturally competent and holistic approach that is tailored to each client’s individual needs, understanding that everyone’s path to wellbeing is a unique journey. She combines her knowledge of psychopharmacology and psychotherapy to provide each client with a treatment plan that aligns with their goals and lifestyle. Dr. Liss was born and raised in a neighborhood in the North Bronx. He attended Queens College, CUNY where he graduated Summa Cum Laude with a B.A. in Hebrew. He completed Medical school at NYIT College of Osteopathic Medicine in Old Westbury, NY and thereafter was accepted to NUMC for psychiatry residency training. For his final year of residency, Dr. Liss was appointed to the position of Chief Resident at NUMC, Nassau University Medical Center.

Dr. Yan graduated Phi Beta Kappa from Harvard University with honors in Economics. She holds a law degree from Harvard and was a practicing attorney before pursuing her medical education at New York University School of Medicine. While in medical school, she won the Best Research Presentation Award for the Jack Cary Eichenbaum Summer Scholars Program. She received her residency training in psychiatry at Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, where she served on the Mental Health Crisis Response Team during the Covid pandemic.

Dr. Matthew Koller is a board-certified adult psychiatrist who is joining the Talkiatry team as a staff psychiatrist after completion of his psychiatry residency. Dr. Koller believes that a person must be known before they are treated, and he works with patients to understand their goals of care while prioritizing a collaborative treatment approach. His practice focuses on medication management, however he allows space for supportive therapy and other therapeutic modalities within sessions. He may include a therapist in the treatment plan for optimal care.

Dr. Green (she/her) holds the position of staff psychiatrist at Talkiatry. She is board-eligible in adult psychiatry. She received her medical degree from New York Institute of Technology's College of Osteopathic Medicine on Long Island, NY. Her adult residency training was completed at Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU) in Richmond, VA. In addition to general, adult psychiatry, Dr. Green is clinically experienced and interested in treating patients of a wide variety.

I am a board-certified psychiatrist providing patient-centered care. I take pride in my ability to treat a variety of psychiatric conditions with evidence-based knowledge and novel methods. I have experience in working with healthcare professionals, students (college, graduate, law and medical), LGBT clients, and survivors of trauma. I am licensed in New Jersey, New York, and Massachusetts.

She believes optimal patient care goes beyond psychopharmacology and requires incorporation of psychotherapy and psychosocial intervention. She's a strong advocate for her patients dedicated to being an educator of mental illness to break self, societal and systemic stigmas. She believes a strong therapeutic alliance between clinician and patient is essential. She works on creating a safe & empathetic environment, providing psychoeducation to patients empowering them to play an active role in their treatment.
