Mali Mann, MD is adult, adolescent and child psychiatrist and psychoanalyst in Palo Alto and San Francisco California. After finishing her medical school, she finished her residency and child fellowship at University Rochester and Kanas. She finished adolescent Medicine fellowship at Stanford university Psychiatry Department. She completed her adult and child psychoanalytic training at San Francisco Center for Psychoanalysis. She is a faculty member and Training and supervising psychoanalyst, adult and child at SFCP. She is also an adjunct Clinical Professor at Stanford University, School of Medicine. She published "Psychoanalytic Aspect of Assisted reproductive Technology" and collection of her poetry.

Finding a Board Certified Integrative Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist, one who approaches treatment from an evidence based clinical, holistic, developmental and systems based (family, school, etc) perspective is challenging. I am committed to improving lives of children, adolescents and their families. I specialize in Autism, Anxiety and OCD disorders. I treat these through Cognitive Behavioral, Exposure Response Prevention, Family or Parent Behavioral Management therapies with or without psychotropic medications. I incorporate mindfulness, psychoeducation, sensory and complimentary interventions as appropriate.

I am a doctorally prepared, dual board certified Psychiatric Mental Health and Family Nurse Practitioner. I believe in providing holistic, whole person care. Besides medication management, psychotherapy and integrative modalities can provide the much needed support for patients. Exploring these modalities to help you improve your symptoms and quality of life is of utmost importance. Modalities explored are complementary and alternative medicine (CAMs) and Ketamine-assisted psychotherapy.

I prefer to work with people who are interested in pursuing treatment and taking their mental health into their own hands. My patients preferably have their own therapists already and are interested in supplemental medication management. Beyond that, I am very flexible as to individual goals and means of acquiring those goals.
