Komal Singh, M.D. is a graduate of Avalon University School of Medicine and completed her residency at the University of Alabama at Birmingham Hospital with additional fellowship training in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at the University of Virginia Hospital. Dr. Singh provides psychiatric evaluations and treatment services to children and adolescents. Dr. Singh focuses on taking a personalized approach that takes into account all aspects of the mental health of each individual patient when determining the best method of treatment. Her treatment recommendations include medications, therapy, and lifestyle changes.

Chelsea Snyder, PMHNP-BC, MSN, RN, graduated from Shenandoah University with a BSN and Bachelor's of Biology. She attained her MSN from Virginia Commonwealth University. Prior to her time at Zoe, Mrs. Snyder worked in inpatient psychiatry at VCU. At Zoe, Chelsea is passionate about caring for patients across the lifespan. She works with patients experiencing OCD, ADHD, mood and anxiety disorders. Mrs. Snyder is also excited to work with peri and postnatal women. She is dedicated to building a therapeutic relationship to advocate for the mental health needs of the community.

My field of practice is the treatment of depression, mood disorders, anxiety, PTSD, eating disorders, and ADHD treatment with medication management and therapy. I am now pleased to also be offering ketamine-assisted therapy for individuals with treatment-resistant depression, anxiety, OCD, and PTSD.

I have a passion for mental health and make a commitment to my clients that I will care for them as I would a family member. I’ve been a nurse since 2002 and worked in the Neuroscience Unit and Surgical Trauma ICU at VCU. In 2012, I graduated from VCU with a degree in Adult Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner. I worked with inmates at the Henrico Jail for several years, practiced telemedicine (before it was cool) from home for 1 year working with clients in Appalachia, and then I worked with Diamond Healthcare in nursing homes and inpatient for crisis and substance abuse. I provide medication management for all mental health disorders. The initial appointment is very comprehensive and it takes 30 mins to 45 mins. Medication is prescribed based upon client preference and need, and the client is closely monitored monthly until stable on the medication. Follow up appointments are usually 20 mins to 30 mins.
