He received his medical degree from Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine, then completed general psychiatry residency at Drexel College of Medicine, followed by child and adolescent psychiatry fellowship at Johns Hopkins Hospital. Before joining the outpatient psychiatry team at CareMind Health/Mindoula Clinical Services, Dr. Thangaraj worked as a child and adolescent psychiatrist at Sheppard-Pratt Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland, and McLean Hospital in Boston, Massachusetts.
