As a psychiatrist and psychotherapist, my goal is to create a safe, warm and compassionate space for healing and personal growth. In my work, I aim to delve beyond diagnostic labels to uncover the core issues underlying clinical symptoms. This process acknowledges each individual’s unique experience and helps minimize reliance on medications. Together, I work with my clients to help them understand the unconscious impact of early childhood experiences on their current ability to love, work and play, and help them gain inner freedom to live fuller, more wholesome lives.

I am a board-certified adult psychiatrist specializing in treatment of adolescent and adult anxiety disorders, depression, bipolar disorder, obsessive-compulsive disorder, attention-deficit / hyperactivity disorder, and trauma-based disorders. I completed my training at Boston University Medical Campus (BUMC) prior to completing before having my psychiatry residency at the University of Connecticut (UConn Health) where I worked in both adolescent and adult mental health clinics.

I work well with people who are motivated to improve their lives but appreciate a gentle approach. Clients wanting to be heard will find me to be a good listener who is comfortable with the full range of human experience. In our work together, I will use evidence-based treatments including therapy, medications, and lifestyle modifications to assist you in reaching your goals.

My mission as a therapist is to help you achieve personal growth and emotional well-being by utilizing a nonjudgemental, open, and curious approach. I operate from the position that our thoughts, feelings, and behaviors are influenced by our past experiences, especially those from childhood. I work with you to uncover what is beneath the surface in an effort to gain better insight into yourself. I work with people on a broad spectrum of issues including, but not limited to anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, life transitions, past trauma, body image, and self-esteem.

I have committed my career to the healthcare industry as a board-certified and state-licensed physician assistant since receiving my Master's degree in health sciences from Lock Haven University in 2015. I've developed a wealth of knowledge and experience in delivering all-encompassing medical treatment that takes into account a variety of disciplines and patient demographics throughout the years. This path has given me the chance to consistently hone my abilities and keep up with the most recent developments in medical procedures, ensuring that I provide the best degree of care to every person I have the honor to serve.

Caroline Obregon is a dual Board-Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC). She has been in the medical field for a decade and has been a practicing provider for almost 4 years. Caroline specializes in treating issues or conditions related to mood disorders, anxiety, stress, trauma, depression, and other concerns experienced by adults and senior clients. Caroline earned her Master’s degree in Nursing from South University-Savannah and received her Post Master’s certification as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner from Maryville University.
