I will work with you to create a treatment plan that fits your life and your treatment needs. I conduct medical evaluations where I ask questions about your history and presenting problems. Then, with your help, we develop a treatment plan that may include medications that would be helpful in addressing your symptoms. At King Health Systems, we provide case management, therapy, and medication management for clients with Medicaid who are struggling with addiction, behavioral issues, depression, anxiety, trauma, bipolar, and more. We serve children ages 3 and up. We are currently offering telehealth and in person services. Our case management (PRP) services can assist clients with housing referrals, employment support, stress management, budgeting and money management, coping skills, socialization skills, parenting skills and mentoring services.

I am Board Certified in Adult Psychiatry and have been practicing since 2005. I completed my residency from Tufts University in Boston, Massachusetts and my Fellowship in Addictions from the Robert Johnson Wood Foundation. I am a Board Certified Psychiatrist with over 40 years of experience who does medication management and psychotherapy. I am adjunct faculty at St. Elizabeth's hospital with my wife, Deborah K. Ward, DCSW. We teach couples therapy and lead a process group. I have advanced training in Imago Relationship Therapy, family and individual therapy, Internal Family Systems (IFS) & Gestalt therapy. I support principles of Conscious Uncoupling and Imago Parent training, focusing on the family's need for listening and understanding. Kristi is compassionate, empathic and kind. She has dedicated decades of her life to helping others. She obtained her bachelor's degree from Eastern Kentucky University and then obtained both her master's degree and post-master's degree from the University of Cincinnati.
