She also holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and a Bachelor of Science in Dietetics from University of Delaware. Dr. Nijjar has 5 years of psychiatric experience working in outpatient and inpatient settings with adolescents and adults. She treats varies disorders such as MDD, bipolar disorder, GAD, PTSD, OCD, and ADHD with medication management and psychotherapy.

With 6 years with a psychiatric nurse experience and 2 years with an FNP experience, she has treated patients with acute and chronic depression, anxiety and panic, ADHD, bipolar disorder, obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD), post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), and psychosis, among others.
