Stephanie Timmons is a psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner with more than 10 years experience in outpatient, inpatient and in-home nursing care. Her specialty areas are medication management and treatment of anxiety disorders including panic and post-traumatic stress, depression, adjustment disorders, anger and obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD). She holds bachelor's and master's degrees in nursing from the University of Cincinnati with advanced certification in family and psychiatric nursing.

I diagnose and treat a wide variety of mental health conditions in a safe, compassionate, and empathetic environment. In some cases, I may provide some adjunct, but limited Individual Therapy. The thing I want you to most understand - there is hope. I am a big proponent of helping clients see the end-goal of mental health treatment - to feel and function better. Her scope of practice includes individuals 13 years of age and older.

I received my medical degree from Gujarat University, and completed residency in psychiatry at Rosalind Franklin University in North Chicago. Prior to my work in psychiatry, I worked in private practice and as an assistant professor in the field of Obstetrics and Gynecology. I am certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. I have been practicing for over 25 years in the Cincinnati area and have experience with diverse populations in both inpatient and outpatient settings. I keep current with new advances in medicine and use evidence-based guidelines for treatment, but am also constantly learning from my patients.

She received her bachelor's degree from Southern Connecticut University and her master's degree in nursing from Yale University. She has provided psychiatric nursing services for more than 25 years in inpatient, outpatient, and private practice settings. She has 15 years of experience in emergency and mobile crisis intervention and has worked with community outreach workers and police to help manage patients in crisis.

VirtualPsych allows for telepsych healthcare remotely in an easy to use environment. Our physicians specialize in the treatment of conditions such as anxiety, depression and bipolar disorder and have over 30 years of experience in psychiatry and mental health. We accept a variety of insurance plans from providers including Aetna, CareSource and United Healthcare. We also cover most Medicaid and Medicare plans as well. She believes in working together with patients to help them obtain their optimal level of mental well-being.

Dr. Carpenter has more than 12 years of experience in psychiatry with specialty in child and adolescent psychiatry. He earned his medical degree from the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine and completed his psychiatry residency at George Washington University in Washington, D. C. where he completed additional training in Health Policy and Advocacy. He completed his child and adolescent fellowship at Nationwide Children's Hospital in Columbus. In 2017, he was a finalist for the Cincinnati Business Courier's Healthcare Hero for improving the quality of Cincinnati healthcare through his patient care mission.
