Hi Friends! My name is Catie; I am a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner offering medication management via telehealth! I enjoy caring for diverse populations, children, the LGBTQ+ community, and peripartum/postpartum women. I have found that my clients in the adolescent and young adult age groups find me incredibly calming and relatable. My patients living with substance use challenges express feeling relieved after opening up to me because of my nonjudgmental approach. Dr. Laura Obler is board-certified in adult psychiatry. She received her medical degree from the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA in Los Angeles, California, where she stayed to complete her psychiatry residency at the UCLA Semel Institute for Neuroscience. During residency she received specialized training in reproductive psychiatry (the treatment of women who are considering pregnancy or are pregnant or postpartum) and acted as Chief Resident of the Women’s Life Center at UCLA. She has previously worked in community clinics in the greater Los Angeles area and as a staff psychiatrist at UCLA.

Colton Braucher is a Board-Certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner with 2 years' experience specializing in depression, anxiety, schizophrenia, bipolar, and ADHD. Colton treats patients aged 7 and up, specializing in care of patients across the lifespan. Colton believes that treatment is a multifactorial approach, but care is individualized for each patient. In his clinical work, Colton has extensive experience treating psychosis related disorders by leading a First Episode Psychosis program over the past 2 years.

My educational background includes a recent MSN from Frontier Nursing University and a strong foundation in nursing and psychology from Colorado State University and the University of Colorado at Boulder. I am also a current functional psychiatry fellow with Psychiatry Redefined. My clinical expertise spans across various settings, including labor and delivery, neonatal intensive care, emergency care, and mental health. I pride myself on providing compassionate care to patients.

Although carefully chosen medications can quickly achieve much needed relief of anxiety, depression, insomnia and trauma symptoms, a thorough evaluation can also identify many opportunities for improvement without medications. The most effective treatment plan may include work-life balance, nutrition and sleep strategies, address, avoid or adapting to triggers, in addition to multiple psychotherapies. When needed, medications with the lowest side effects, easiest to use, most predictably effective & not addictive are recommended. Ultimately, it is up to each person to decide which strategies they will use to achieve wellness.
