New Visions Medical Group was founded by Dr. Rodney Collins and is comprised of many psychiatrists, therapists and nurse practitioners who all specialize in mental issues and process disorders. We treat teenagers, adults and elderly patients at our location starting with assessment, diagnosis and medication management. Patients who suspect they may be suffering from depression, anxiety, ADHD, bi-polar disorder, addiction/alcoholism, and other process disorders are treated at our office. I established Beverly Hills Psychiatry to promote psychiatric wellness and healthy functioning in adults, adolescents, and children. By providing video appointments patients anywhere in California can be seen and treated. I strive to create an environment in which patients can feel comfortable discussing their symptoms, experiences and concerns. I place maximum value on really listening to my patients and establishing an honest and trusting doctor-patient alliance.

I am empathetic and highly skilled at treating individuals with substance use disorders and behavioral addictions such as gambling, sex and eating disorders. I understand the prevalence of trauma, mood, and anxiety disorders in patients recovering from substance and/or behavioral addictions, thus I accept patients with dual or multiple diagnoses. Of specific interest to me is working with licensed professionals who have addiction treatment needs. I provide education, intervention, assessment, treatment support, monitoring, and/or relapse prevention to professionals whose licensing and/or ability to practice is at stake.
