Seeking out mental health treatment can be a daunting process—one that involves exploration of identity and major life transitions. I enjoy working with patients navigating the impact of life transitions (starting a new career, adjusting to a new school, ending/beginning relationships, experiencing loss, adjusting to medical illness) on their overall mental health. Dr. Simon Faynboym was born in Ukraine and immigrated to California at a very young age. Growing up in California, he had a drive to serve the underprivileged and decided to become a physician. Dr. Faynboym currently practices Psychiatry and TMS at Neuro Wellness Spa. Dr. Faynboym earned two Bachelor of Science Degrees, his first in Genetics and the second in Food Biochemistry. He graduated in the top of his class and continued thereafter to get his masters training in Biomedical Sciences at Midwestern University for a year, before heading off to Medical School.

Beata Pearce, FNP/PMHNP has been in the healthcare field since 2009, with different roles in clinical practice both in the hospital and outpatient settings. She holds a Master of Science in Nursing as a Family Nurse Practitioner from Charles R. Drew, University of Medicine and Science. She also obtained a certification in Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner specialty from the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley. Prior to joining Mindpath Health, she has worked as a Family Nurse Practitioner and Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner for over 6 years now.

I believe that your mental health treatment should be as unique and individualized as you are. We are far more than just a group of symptoms that make up diagnoses, only to be treated with a generic list of medications. In my practice, I aim to incorporate evidence-based treatments while also considering the different factors that impact your mental health while working in collaboration with you. I limit my caseload to optimize availability for my established patients along with providing flexibility in scheduling and appointment times.

Dr. Hansen began her medical career in the Army National Guard as a medic. After completing 12 years education, she moved to Alaska to work in integrated care models for the Native American people at Southcentral Foundation. During this time, she served as an adult & adolescent psychiatrist & director for the dual-diagnosis addiction program. She gradually transitioned to the field of tele-psychiatry & assumed the role of Behavioral Health Director for multiple towns in Alaska while concomitantly working in California for LA County. She now practices concierge tele-psychiatry in AK, AZ, CA & FL & is accepting new clients.
