Great to meet you! I am a board-certified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner (PMHNP-BC). I received my Master of Science in Nursing from the University of South Alabama. My background experience includes emergency room, adult psychiatric inpatient hospital, outpatient clinic, geriatric inpatient hospital, and eating disorder inpatient and outpatient clinics. I also speak Spanish and Portuguese.

During consultations, I focus on being supportive and understanding while at the same time being a very thorough professional. I have over thirty years of experience in various levels of care, assisting and guiding clients to adjust to new life situations. Taking the necessary time to listen to you helps me make the best evaluation and together we come up with a treatment plan. Before establishing my practice in the United States, I have also had a wide range of experience in Brazil, where for fifteen years, I worked as a clinical psychiatrist and taught medical students and psychiatry residents.I lecture in conferences as well.

I Only treat adults with ADHD. I work with clients to improve self-awareness and emotional intelligence, enhance interpersonal relationships, increase self-confidence and assertiveness, develop and sustain healthy habits, manage stress, avoid burnout, and achieve peak performance and personal fulfillment.
