I am a board certified, compassionate psychiatrist in private practice for 40 years and a former faculty member at SUNY Medical College. I’ve found, and research confirms, that treatment is more effective when psychotherapy is added even when medication is needed. My psychotherapy is informed by advances in neuroscience.
