Vera Udebhulu is a board-certified mental health nurse practitioner who renders services to young teen and older adults (age range 14 and older). She has worked in different settings providing care to individuals and families suffering from acute to chronic mental illness. Vera is very passionate about delivering comprehensive, integrated, and individualized care to those seeking her services. She has been providing mental health services since 2013 and truly believes that effectively engaging her clients is an integral part of successful treatment.

Dr. Jane Eisen comes to Talkiatry from her previous position at McLean Hospital in Boston, where she was Clinical Director of the Depression and Anxiety Division. Clinically, she has experience working with people with significant mood and anxiety difficulties. Dr. Eisen's practice focuses on using an integrated approach to the understanding and treatment of individuals' psychosocial stresses and psychiatric symptoms. She frequently suggests including a family member or friend in at least one session to get a comprehensive sense of each person's strengths and challenges.

Rebecca is a board certified Staff Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner at Talkiatry. She has extensive experience evaluating and treating adults in a variety of settings over the past 10 years. Previously, she's worked at Elmhurst Hospital’s Comprehensive Psychiatric Emergency Program, Gracie Square Hospital on an inpatient unit, and community health settings and skilled nursing facilities. As a nurse practitioner, she believes that addressing mental health concerns is just as important as addressing physical concerns. She values the therapeutic relationship with a collaborative and empathic approach to treatment.

Dr. Cabrera is a board‐certified psychiatrist with several years of experience working with an ethnically and culturally diverse population in outpatient, inpatient, and psychiatric emergency room settings. Most recently, Dr. Cabrera practiced privately treating adults with a wide range of mental illnesses both in person and via telepsychiatry.

Dr. Powers is a board-eligible Psychiatrist. She received her advanced medical degree from Adelphi University and completed her psychiatry residency training at SUNY Stony Brook University Hospital and Medical Center. She also holds a master’s degree in Developmental Psychology from Columbia University. She has practiced in various settings over her career including treating adults in psychiatric inpatient, outpatient, and ER settings. She has worked intensively with PTSD in veterans. Dr. Powers has instructed and supervised residents and medical students at multiple locations.

Dr. Padow is a board‐certified adult psychiatrist who uses a compassionate, collaborative approach to the treatment of patients with a range of psychiatric conditions. She focuses on building strong therapeutic alliances with her patients in order to create safe spaces to work together toward wellness. Dr. Padow’s practice employs a mix of psychotherapy and medication management, tailoring treatment to each patient’s specific needs and preferences. She primarily works with adults dealing with depression, anxiety, and difficulty coping with life changes.

Dr. Abramov is a board certified psychiatrist specializing in the treatment of adults, with additional expertise in the care of older adults. Dr. Abramov’s practice focuses on medication management. It integrates principles from various therapeutic modalities including supportive therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, interpersonal therapy and motivational interviewing into 30-minute follow-up visits. At times, she may recommend the addition of an individual therapist to your care team in order to enhance treatment outcomes.

Dr. Weiss is a board-certified Staff Psychiatrist at Talkiatry with expertise in the diagnosis and treatment of psychiatric conditions including: depression and bipolar spectrum disorders; anxiety; stress and adjustment problems; ADD/ADHD; maternal mental health; OCD; and other disorders. He has extensive experience working with individuals from diverse backgrounds, college and graduate students, creative professionals, and the range of working adults. For the past decade, and prior to joining the staff of Talkiatry, Dr. Weiss worked at The New School as the university’s staff psychiatrist.

Dr. Lee Dockery serves as a general pscyhiatry provider for Talkiatry since joining in August 2022. He is board-eligible with expected certification in fall 2022, with further addiction psychiatry board-certification expected in 2023. He has been training and practicing psychiatry since 2018. Dr. Dockery’s practice emphasizes medication management within a therapy-informed framework, utilizing skills from Acceptance and Commitment therapy, mindfulness based therapies, motivation interviewing, and supportive therapy. Typically, he offers 60-minute new visits and 30-minute follow-up visits.

Dr. Caitlin Aguiar is a board-certified adult psychiatrist. Her mental health care incorporates a holistic approach, while treating clients to facilitate healing and wellness. She incorporates non-pharmaceutical interventions to supplement medication-management including, but not limited to, mindfulness, breathwork, CBT, DBT and supportive therapy in 30min sessions.

Dr. Andrew Lelin is a board-certified Psychiatrist in Adult Psychiatry. Dr. Lelin has an in-depth education in various psychotherapeutic modalities including psychodynamic, cognitive-behavioral, habit-reversal, and cognitive-processing therapies, which he continues to incorporate into his daily practice. After completing training, he went on to provide inpatient consultation and crisis intervention services in New York City.

Dr. Natarajan is a Psychiatrist at Talkiatry providing psychiatric services to adults ages 18 and older. In her practice, Dr. Natarajan focuses on medication management and psychoeducation, often along with supportive therapy. She is committed to providing quality care for her patients that is evidence-based and patient-centered. She is dedicated to working collaboratively with patients as a team in order to help patients to the best of her ability.

Dr. Goel holds the position of Staff Psychiatrist at Talkiatry. She has completed adult psychiatry training and is board eligible. She has been actively involved in mental health care in various capacities over the past 7 years. Dr. Goel's practice focuses on psychopharmacological interventions. Typically, she combines this with a strong emphasis on Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT). Dr. Goel also strongly believes that the best outcomes are achieved, when you treat a person and not just illness.

Dr. Mathews is an adult psychiatrist who works with young adults and adults struggling with anxiety and depressive disorders. She uses a compassionate, non-judgmental, and reflective approach to listening and working with clients. Dr. Mathews’ practice focuses on medication management, offered in conjunction with supportive therapy in 30-minute follow-up visits.

Please note I only see patients who live in CA or NY and who are under 65 years of age. I can complete Autism and ADHD assessments if you are looking for that.

Dr. Monica Badillo is double board-certified in child and adolescent psychiatry and adult psychiatry by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. She received additional training and certification in Psychodynamic Psychotherapy at the New York Medical College Psychoanalytic Institute. Dr. Badillo is bilingual and speaks Spanish and English to deliver quality care for patients and parents. She provides medication management while incorporating psychoeducation, supportive, and psychodynamic psychotherapies. Generally, she employs 30-minute follow-up sessions, and she may request a psychotherapist to participate in treatment.
