I focus on the entire patient, not just the diagnosis. I am a Nurse Practitioner who provides a full range of psychiatric services including psychiatric evaluation, diagnosis, medication review and management, and supportive psychotherapy. Determined to make a meaningful impact on her patients' lives, she pursued further education, earning a Master's degree in Physician Assistant Studies at MCPHS University.

With a strong commitment to mental health, I have acquired extensive experience as a dedicated and compassionate mental health professional. I played a vital role in educating patients on essential aspects of mental health, and I've also done a lot of work in helping individuals dealing with diabetic and weight management issues deal and work through these concerns.

Dr. King works with both adults and children. Dr. King is able to connect with clients and help them feel comfortable discussing personal histories and concerns. Dr. King has been working in Pediatrics since 2007 and has worked in the psychiatric field with children and adults since 2012 in a variety of settings including hospitals, medical centers and private practice.

I have been working in the mental health field in various roles since 1998 from working with children and adolescents as a behavioral interventionist and health care coordinator in residential programs for youth with complex diagnoses and histories of trauma, and with adults inpatient at a state hospital. Dr. Toppelberg is an experienced, Harvard-trained child, adolescent and adult psychiatrist, usually working with ages 3-30. He evaluates and treats emotional/ behavioral difficulties including ADHD, depression, trauma, stress, anxiety, and selective mutism, and those preventing weight loss. He has focused on issues of performance at work, study and competitive sports. He regularly works with tour-level tennis players and other professional and student athletes. He is an expert in neurodevelopmental disabilities, as well as learning and language disabilities. He runs psychiatric services at an excellent school for children/adolescents with autism and other neurodevelopmental disabilities, the prestigious New England Center for Children.
