Hello, I am so happy you are here. My name is Dr. Powell. I am a board-certified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner serving North Carolina. I prided myself in providing comprehensive mental health care with a patient-centered and holistic approach to adolescents, adults, and geriatrics. I am experienced in addressing unique mental health disparities of the underrepresented populations in the African American and LGBTQ+ communities and offer treatment for a variety of mental health disorders, such as ADHD, depression, anxiety, OCD, schizophrenia, bipolar, and drug, alcohol addiction and more.

I am a board-certified PA with a certificate of additional qualifications in psychiatry (CAQ-Psychiatry). Dr. Guidry graduated from LSU Medical School in New Orleans. He completed his psychiatry residency training in Augusta Georgia. He is uniquely qualified a psychiatrist and a surgeon. Dr. Guidry is board certified in Psychiatry and OBGYN. His specialties include the treatment of depression, bipolar disorder, anxiety disorders, sexual disorders, anger management, sexual assault, and trauma. Dr. Guidry is a combat veteran, who retired from the United States Army after 25 years of service. He enjoys spending time with his family, writing novels, playing his guitar, and riding his motorcycle on mountain backroads.

Celena Nicole Shivers is a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner in South Carolina who has been practicing since 2023. Celena helps patients diagnosed with mental illnesses have a good quality of life. In her spare time, Celena enjoys cooking.

Patricia Carter is a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner and Adult Geriatric Nurse Practitioner. She is a mastered prepared advanced nurse with ten plus years of nursing experience. Knowledgeable in caring and treating patients in inpatient, outpatient, crisis, and skilled long-term settings. She is actively involved in promoting recovery for those with mental illness, addiction, and trauma through the integration of innovative and evidence based clinical practice and psychosocial needs.

Dr. Strother graduated from Case Western Reserve medical school in Cleveland Ohio, and completed his psychiatry residency at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia. He is a board-certified psychiatrist, and has been proud to practice his specialty in the US Army as an active duty physician. Dr. Strother is also an attorney who previously specialized in corporate tax law. Doc B as he is frequently called by many of his patients, enjoys both outpatient psychiatry and inpatient acute care.
