I am Board Certified in Adult Psychiatry and have been practicing since 2005. I completed my residency from Tufts University in Boston, Massachusetts and my Fellowship in Addictions from the Robert Johnson Wood Foundation. In 2014, I was featured in SJ Magazine as one of New Jersey’s top psychiatrists. I have experience working with adults as well as adolescents suffering from both psychiatric diagnosis and substance use disorders and have extensive experience working in both out-patient and in-patient settings.

My overall aim is to provide the best evidence-based level of care for my clients. I care about them and what they need. I work collaborative with clients to develop goals and how to achieve them. I also want to make certain that others the client cares about are included in our collaborative planning process. My ideal client is the one who I am working with at the time! I am Board Certified at the Doctorate level to provide therapies and biopsychosocial care for ages 13 years and throughout the lifespan. I use mindfulness and a calm atmosphere in order to meet individual, couple, family and even community needs.

Hello! I am a wife, mother, artist, therapist and psychiatrist, and I would love to hear from you. With each patient, I take a highly personalized approach, focused on developing a relationship which informs the treatment plan. Most of my patients suffer from anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, and life stressors. I believe in carefully using medications to relieve symptoms, often coupled with insight oriented psychotherapy. Through this careful, thoughtful, and deep process, I find that patients experience the greatest chance of symptom relief and true life change.

The use of ketamine for mental health symptoms falls into two broad frameworks – a pharmaceutical/biochemical framework and ketamine-assisted psychotherapy (KAP). The pharmaceutical/biochemical framework has a neurobiological approach that often employs low intravenous dosing by an anesthesiologist with no therapy or mental health support. The contents of the experience or talking about interpersonal issues aren’t the focus of the treatment. Ketamine-assisted psychotherapy (KAP) is a method where moderate to high doses of ketamine are delivered with the intention of altering consciousness to facilitate psychotherapy & change.

My primary goal as a physician is to work with patients to establish and implement the treatment plan that best suits them. Hi! I have been in mental health care for almost 15 years in a variety of settings. The bulk of my experience has been in the high acuity setting of Emergency Psychiatry. I have a passion for empathic care that seeks to understand and help those dealing with not just mental illness, but the stress of life in general. I treat individuals of all ages and mental health concerns such as depression and anxiety. I am also particularly passionate about providing care for psychotic and psychosis related disorders, as well as working with sexual identity and gender identity concerns.
