Dr. Tony Tu is a board certified adult psychiatrist who emphasizes patient education and a psychodynamic approach to outpatient psychiatry. His passion for empowering patients with knowledge stems from his academic experience in psychiatry residency training. Dr. Tu's practice focuses on blending medication management together with psychotherapy. He also prioritizes collaboration with your therapist and encourages working together as a team.

Innerpeace Psychiatric Services, led by Dr. Yang Roby, a board-certified psychiatrist in Howard County, Maryland. With a Ph.D. in Human Genetics and neuroscience from Johns Hopkins University and extensive psychiatry residency training at the University of Iowa, she horns her expertise in treating various psychiatric conditions spanning five years of outpatient care. she integrates principles of evidence-based pharmaceutical treatments with her practice with Satir transformation therapy and mindfulness techniques, ensuring personalized, patient-centered care to guide individuals on their path to find inner peace.

Dr. Serena Chen completed her psychiatry training at Harvard South Shore where she also served as the Chief of Wellness. In addition to her residency training, she pursued further therapy training at the Boston Psychoanalytic Society and Institute. Dr. Chen believes in combining medication management and therapy for the best treatment outcomes. She takes a patient-centered and collaborative approach with the aim of helping patients achieve their own personal vision for improved well-being. She had previously worked as a consultant before deciding to pursue a career in medicine.

I am double board-certified in Child Adolescent and Adult Psychiatry. My practice philosophy is to first educate my patients and their legal guardians the most up-to-date treatment guidelines on the issues they present, ensure they fully understand treatment protocols, and then work together to make treatment decisions. I will be there for my patients all the way to their recovery.
