Dr. Munir graduated with academic distinction, receiving his medical degree from Baqai Medical University in Karachi, Pakistan in 2013. He completed his psychiatry residency training at St. Elizabeth's Medical Center in Boston, MA in 2022 at which point he joined BNBA. Dr. Munir's goal as an early career psychiatrist is to accommodate the wide spectrum of needs of his patients. Nancy is a board certified Psychiatric and Mental Health Nurse Practitioner in the state of Massachusetts with diverse background working as registered nurse in medical and psychiatric inpatient settings, taking care of individuals with: Medical comorbidities, substance use and multiple complex psychiatric condition. Mackie is a certified nurse practitioner currently working for a level 1 trauma center in Boston. In that role, she has the opportunity to care for a large population of homeless with mental health and substance abuse problems. A large component of the care provided involves the management of the psychological and social aspects through continuity of care and referrals. Many of the clients that Mackie has come to observe, not only have to deal with mental health issues but suffer greatly from the lack of family support, in part, due to the associated stigma of the disorder.

Ideally my patient is as invested in their care as I am. They could have a variety of diagnoses but the thing they have in common is they are willing to give the process time, are open to new ideas, and know there is no magic pill to fix all their problems. My patients want to get to the best version of themselves and are willing to try therapy as well as medications to help them reach that goal.
