Working closely with the patient, I believe in using the biopsychosocial model to address mental health problems. Through examination of the interconnection between biology, psychology, and socio-environmental factors, an individualized treatment plan can be created to best address targets to improve quality of life. I am comfortable treating a broad spectrum of diagnoses including mood disorders such as depression and bipolar, anxiety disorders, psychotic disorders, PTSD, and ADHD. I have a specific interest in the management of ADHD through my training experience.

Brittany is a Board Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Practitioner. She was born and raised in a small town in Missouri before she came to California as a travel nurse. Brittany has an extensive critical care background as well as a background in psychiatry and addiction medicine, and she believes in staying up-to-date with all the newest technology and medications to find what truly works best for her patients. Having trained in large metropolitan areas as well as rural communities, it is her passion to provide affordable, quality mental health care to those in all areas.

Accepting New Patients - Dr. Ara completed her fellowship training in Consultation-Liaison Psychiatry (CLP) at UCLA. CLP is a subspecialty of psychiatry that focuses on treating mental health issues in patients with complex medical conditions. Before her fellowship training, she completed her psychiatry residency at the University of New Mexico and earned her M.D. degree from Tehran University.

Dr. Heather Mak is a psychiatrist with experience in helping patients with issues like hyperactivity disorder, anxiety, bipolar disorder, post-traumatic stress disorder, and obsessive-compulsive disorder.

My goal and passion is to improve your quality of life and guide you to becoming the best version of yourself. I have worked in healthcare for over twelve years across a variety of patient populations. Some of my specialties include depression, anxiety, addiction, bipolar disorder, trauma, eating disorders, chronic pain, and ADHD. I have a master's degree from UCLA where I learned the value of evidence-based practice and striving for the utmost quality when delivering healthcare for my patients. I am dual certified as a family and psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner.

Dr. Simon Faynboym was born in Ukraine and immigrated to California at a very young age. Growing up in California, he had a drive to serve the underprivileged and decided to become a physician. Dr. Faynboym currently practices Psychiatry and TMS at Neuro Wellness Spa. Dr. Faynboym earned two Bachelor of Science Degrees, his first in Genetics and the second in Food Biochemistry. He graduated in the top of his class and continued thereafter to get his masters training in Biomedical Sciences at Midwestern University for a year, before heading off to Medical School.
