Spring Creek Mental Health consists of Board-Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioners. Welcome! I am Dr. Kristopher Kast, a psychiatrist in Nashville, Tennessee. My practice is focused on dynamic therapy, also called psychodynamic or psychoanalytic psychotherapy. This is an evidence-based treatment for a number of problems - including depression, anxiety, and difficulties with relationships or self-esteem regulation - and it is well-suited to understanding and treating complexity. Dynamic therapy is open-ended and may include more frequent sessions. We will work together on a plan that best fits you.

My goal is to create a space for everyone to feel safe and welcome, so that they can receive the care they deserve. As a provider at Family Care Center, I offer medication management. Medication is a powerful tool that can aid you in your mental health journey. Medication reduces/ treats our symptoms, allowing us to feel healthier in order to dive into simultaneous treatments, such as meditation and therapy.
