I practice both psychotherapy and psychopharmacology. I often consult for colleagues in psychology and social work regarding the use of medications.I then manage the medications as part of the treatment team.

Welcome. Thoughtful Psychiatry is a group of psychiatric providers devoted to providing a "thoughtful" approach to psychiatric care. The practice consists of multiple psychiatric prescribers that have extensive training in psychotherapy. While we believe that medications can be very helpful, we insist on providing more than medication for our patients.

I am a psychiatrist in private practice in Cambridge, Massachusetts. Services I provide include psychiatric evaluation/consultation, individual psychotherapy, and psychopharmacology for adults 18 to 65. At this point, I only provide medication management for patients whom I am working with in a regular psychotherapy. I have an academic affiliation with McLean Hospital, Harvard Medical School, and the MGH/McLean Adult Psychiatry Residency Program, where I teach in a psychotherapy course and provide outpatient supervision of residents.

Heather, a highly qualified professional with a Master of Science degree in Physician Assistant studies from Springfield College, has dedicated the majority of her career to the psychiatric field. Having graduated in 2010, she brings a wealth of experience to her new role at Boston Neurobehavioral Associates (BNBA). Excited to be part of such a well-respected company, Heather's primary objective is to deliver outstanding care to all patients while fostering a culture of respect for individuals with psychiatric illnesses at BNBA.

As such, I make it a priority to develop a therapeutic relationship with you for your treatment. The second part of my commitment to you is to discuss and offer state-of-the-art treatment. I have extensive experience and expertise treating all age groups and have found that my patients appreciate the consistency and simplicity of the care.
