I am a dual boarded physician in psychiatry and internal medicine. I have broad experience both in internal medicine and psychiatry. I do inpatient and office-based psychiatry. My expertise are Addiction Medicine, Attention Deficit disorder, geriatric psychiatry, depression, anxiety disorders and bipolar disorder. I have Hospital privileges in majority of Houston and Ford Bend County hospitals, where I perform consultation liaison psychiatry.

I have been Board Certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology for the past 25 years. I am a graduate of San Jacinto College, The University of Texas at Austin, The University of Texas Medical School in San Antonio, and Texas Tech Medical School Residency program in Neuropsychiatry. I diagnose and treat adults, adolescents, and children for most psychiatric disorders especially major depressive disorder and attention deficit disorder (ADHD).

ACCEPTING NEW PATIENTS - We help patients establish a professional relationship with a dedicated physician who knows their medical history and medication regimen. This provides the patient with continuity of care and on-demand access to a doctor through telemedicine or in-person appointments. We manage a wide spectrum of illnesses, including anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, post-traumatic stress disorder, OCD, ADHD and insomnia. I have been blessed to practice psychiatry for the past 11 years. It is an honor to walk the journey of life with my patients, helping them work towards their goals free of burden. I have developed a pharmacologically conservative practice that is founded on listening and developing patient relationships, in the convenience of an accessible West Houston location. With a diverse practice background and the knowledge from being triple boarded in Adult Psychiatry, Child Psychiatry, and Addiction Medicine; I am able to offer experience in treating a wide array of mental illness.

Dr Garb was born and educated in Johannesburg, South Africa. He received his medical and psychiatric training in South Africa and the U.K. He is board.certified in 3 countries, including by the American Board of Psychiatry in 1990. His career has included academic honors and professorial experience, as well as clinical leadership across a broad spectrum of psychiatric services in Johannesburg and Tel Aviv, before being recruited to Houston in 1991. Throughout, Dr Garb has also maintained a well recognized and highly respected private practice wherever he has gone, including his current outpatient practice in Houston.

Solange is a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner based in Texas. With over a decade of experience as a registered nurse, she has worked in various clinical settings from surgery to home health. For the past three years, Solange served as a Family Nurse Practitioner focused on pain management. Through this work, she recognized the interconnectedness of comorbid conditions and mental health. This inspired her to pursue post-master’s training as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner through the University of Texas Rio Grande.
