Welcome! I am currently accepting new patients. As a provider, my approach to care is one of unwavering support for you as the patient. I try my best to provide a thoughtful and individualized approach to psychiatric care. As a clinician who practices in a group setting, I have the opportunity to be part of a practice that consists of multiple psychiatric prescribers and therapists who have extensive training in psychotherapy. Although I am primarily a medication prescriber; and yes, medications can be very helpful, I also believe and insist on providing more than medication. As such, your care will be integrated and unfragmented.

I am a Harvard trained and board certified psychiatrist, as well as a member of the Harvard Medical School faculty. I provide warm, supportive, and down to earth care both in-person and online to help accommodate busy students, parents, and working professionals. I take a thorough and comprehensive approach with each patient, with the underlying belief that we can best meet our goals when we best understand ourselves.

Please note: At this time, I am primarily virtual but offer intermittent in-person appointments. I am based in Southern NH and Greater Boston, MA. I received my nurse practitioner education at Rivier University and completed clinical training at McLean Hospital, in Belmont, MA. My personal and professional goals include bridging the gaps that exist in our healthcare system to ensure everyone has adequate access and good mental health care, reducing stigma so that people are more inclined to ask for help, and providing a treatment plan where both you and I work together to ensure your needs are met.

Dr. Simbiat Adighije (Dr. Sim) has 14+ years of experience in treating adults with PTSD, depression, anxiety, ADHD, Bipolar disorder and weight management. She practices as a Board Certified Psychiatric and Mental Health NP with a wealth of education & experience. Dr. Sim graduated Summa Cum Laude from Rutgers University with Bachelors and Masters of Science degrees in Nursing. She further received a Medical Degree and PhD in Public Health from University of Science, Arts and Technology, Montserrat (Florida campus). She believes in a personalized treatment plan for each patient be it medication therapy and/or psychotherapy.

Accepting New Patients! Dorothy Borkiewicz, PMHNP-BC, LMHC is a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner and License Mental Health Counselor. She has completed her Mental Health Counseling Program at Cambridge College in 2013, and Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner Program at Regis College in 2018. She has several years of experience as Psychiatric Crisis Clinician and has been providing services as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner since June 2018.

Jennifer believes in providing a holistic and individualized care tailored to the specific needs of each patient. She combines psychopharmacology and psychotherapy in each encounter.

I provide psychiatric care, including diagnosis, medication management, consultations, and supportive counseling. I have enjoyed worked with many diverse groups, including members of the LGBTQ community, college students and professionals on all levels, individuals adjusting to cultural changes, persons in life-stage transitions, and those living with chronic disease. My interaction style ranges from supportive, directive, or challenging depending on the client's needs and goals. I maintain a collaborative and respectful approach, and establish a safe therapeutic environment with compassion, empathy, and significant dose of humor.

Stephanie is accepting NEW patients. As dedicated and compassionate board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, I obtained my BSN at Southern New Hampshire University. My desire to make a difference in the mental health field led me to further my education at Regis College, where I graduated with my master’s in nursing in May 2023, specializing in Psychiatry. As a Psychiatric Mental Health NP, my approach to patient care is deeply rooted in compassion and understanding. I VALUE validation; focus on the present, ensure that her patients feel seen, heard, and supported throughout their healing journey.

I am an ivy league-trained child, adolescent and adult psychiatrist seeing patients for combined psychotherapy and medication management services by telehealth. My practice is small and patient-focused with a tailored approach to meet every patient's unique needs. My approach to treatment is to provide a safe, comforting environment where patients feel able to express themselves emotionally without fear of judgment. I pride myself on being empathic, warm and caring with an ability to personally connect with each of my patients and their families. I am a board certified Adult and Forensic psychiatrist, trained at University of Connecticut and Yale School of Medicine. My background is in outpatient, correctional, emergency and forensic psychiatry. I am currently employed at Boston University (BMC), have a private practice in Back Bay, Boston (since 2018), and a new practice in Connecticut.

Margaret Hughes, CPNP, PMHNP is a dual-certified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner and pediatric nurse practitioner. After completing a Master's in Nursing (pediatrics) from Yale University, she provided medical care to children and adolescents at Mattapan Community Health Center and subsequently to college students at Northeastern University Health Center. Her passion for mental health has led her to obtain an additional degree as a psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner.
