I am an advocate for individuals with long standing histories of mental illness as well as those who are newly diagnosed. My goal is to work together with the patient experiencing psychotic and or mood disorders by introducing them to the latest and most effective evidenced treatment modalities available to them as well as using modalities that they believe in and have worked for them. I want my patient to be able to function as an integral member of society and their family. I have been a nurse for over 18 years working in the emergency room, hospice, and mental health.

I am a General Adult Psychiatrist. I trained in psychiatry at KU School of Medicine in Wichita, KS. I also trained in psychiatry in UK prior to joining residency in the United States. I was associate chief resident and chief resident during my residency years at KU. I have over 10 years of experience caring for patients with various psychiatric illnesses including depression, anxiety, panic, bipolar disorder, PTSD and ADHD.
