I am a doctoral prepared psychiatric and mental health nurse practitioner with extensive background in both inpatient and outpatient healthcare facilities. My approach to treatment is emphasized on the importance of understanding biological, psychological and social factors and their complex interactions in understanding health, illness and health care. My objective is to improve and extend psychiatric and mental health care to diverse populations. It can be difficult to get started in mental health treatment, especially for children who might not be seeking the help themselves.
