Throughout my many years of experience both as a registered nurse and Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, I have learnt learned to treat my patients with respect and compassion, knowing that their current problems does not define them. My competence and excellence of care stems from working with diverse patients for over 17 years in healthcare. This experience with different populations has given me confidence to face every situation with an inquisitive and open mind as I deliver evidence based and patient specific care.

I am a board-certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner. I believe in an integrated approach to mental health, utilizing medication management alongside the development of healthy and sustainable skills to navigate the struggles we experience moving through life. I provide psychiatric evaluation, diagnosis, and medication management. I specialize in the treatment of depression, anxiety, PTSD, bipolar disorder, and substance use disorder, as well as other mental health disorders. I strongly believe in staying current with the latest research and guidelines in psychopharmacology and neuroscience in order to best help my patients.

Victoria Counseling Services is an outpatient Adult Psychiatry, established in 2015 following the sudden death of a beloved younger sister, Victoria, who suffered from severe depression and PTSD for most of her adult years. As a patient, expect to be an active participant in your treatment plan.

Dr. Toppelberg is an experienced, Harvard-trained child, adolescent and adult psychiatrist, usually working with ages 3-30. He evaluates and treats emotional/ behavioral difficulties including ADHD, depression, trauma, stress, anxiety, and selective mutism, and those preventing weight loss. He has focused on issues of performance at work, study and competitive sports. He regularly works with tour-level tennis players and other professional and student athletes. He is an expert in neurodevelopmental disabilities, as well as learning and language disabilities. He runs psychiatric services at an excellent school for children/adolescents with autism and other neurodevelopmental disabilities, the prestigious New England Center for Children.

Nataliya is a practicing clinician at Boston Neurobehavioral Associates, treating patients of all ages with a variety of mental health diagnoses. She moved to the US from Ukraine in 1991, with a degree in physics from the University of Tartu, Estonia. Nataliya received her Bachelor of Art in Biology from Wellesley College and studied platelet signaling at Beth Israel Hospital. She later entered a field of drug discovery as a platelet biologist and immunologist and worked at Biogen IDEC and Merk. Then, she graduated from Massachusetts General Hospital Institute of Health Professions Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner program.

Currently we have availability on a weekly basis. Dr. Jacine Vilches is a psychiatric nurse practitioner with dual certification in family practice and psychiatry (double-boarded). After working at a level I trauma center and receiving her doctoral degree from Florida State University she practiced psychiatry in Boston with the severely mentally ill population treating disorders ranging from schizophrenia to generalized anxiety disorder and personality disorders. Recently she moved back to Florida to open her private telepsychiatry practice that focuses on the holistic treatment of mental health disorders.

I am a board certified, Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, with 15yrs+ experience, incorporating a holistic approach in management of both mental health and substance use treatment. I am a board certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner and as such, I can prescribe medication, if necessary, as an adjunct to psychotherapy.
