Hello, I look forward to meeting you! I'm a Board Certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner with over 10 years of experience in nursing. I specialize in working with adults who have been diagnosed with mood and anxiety disorders including Major Depressive Disorder, Bipolar Disorder, Generalized Anxiety, Social Anxiety, OCD and PTSD disorders. I also work with those going through life transitions such as adjustments to illness, divorce and grief. I am a Brown University-trained psychiatrist with expertise in psychopharmacology and different types of psychotherapy, I completed a fellowship in psychodynamic psychotherapy at Boston Psychoanalytic Society and Institute and am Board Certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. I am a Clinical Assistant Professor of Psychiatry at NYU Langone Medical Center, and I have had prior affiliations with other Universities: Brown and Columbia. By maintaining this academic involvement, I am able to stay up to date in this rapidly evolving field.

I am an Assistant Professor of Clinical Psychiatry at Columbia University. I specialize in the treatment of mood, anxiety, and ADHD disorders --particularly when associated with compulsive behaviors such as drug, alcohol or sex addiction. While I use diagnosis as a guidepost for evidenced-based recommendations, I believe strongly that diagnosis should not define you, or the work that we do together. I want to understand you as a person, your values, and your goals, so that we can develop an treatment that helps you to go beyond symptom management, to obtain your optimal sense of well-being and performance.

Doctor Ruiz is a board-certified psychiatrist physician who specializes in psychiatric diagnosis and treatment in anxiety disorders, mood disorders, trauma and stressor related disorders, ADHD, and pregnancy related psychiatric conditions. Dr. Ruiz received her bachelor’s degree in chemistry, graduating from the Honors College with Magna Cum Laude. She later completed four-years of medical school at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center, and an additional four-years of psychiatric residency training.

Anne Mongiello is a Board Certified Psychiatric NP who received clinical training through New York University. She has a person-centered and holistic treatment approach with an egalitarian style. Emphasis is placed on client empowerment and psychoeducation. She has extensive experience with psychiatric evaluation, medication management, and supportive psychotherapy. She highly values practicing transparency, intellectual honesty, and education to empower clients in a shared decision making model.

Dr. JinGu Lee is a board-certified Psychiatrist in the states of New Jersey and New York. Dr. Lee focuses on understanding each client’s unique background and building a strong therapeutic alliance with his client. He works with ethically and culturally diverse patient populations who struggle with conditions such as depression, anxiety, OCD, bipolar disorder, and more. Dr. Lee provides comprehensive medication management services including screening for relevant medical conditions.

I am board certified in both general psychiatry and child & adolescent psychiatry. As such, I not only see children and adolescents but also young adults. I prefer to work with this age group but I will consider working with middle-aged adults as long as it is a good "fit" for my practice. Also please know that my practice is not in any insurance networks, though we will submit all billing to your insurance so that you can collect any out-of-network benefits. I am comfortable diagnosing and treating ADHD & behavioral disorders, depression & other mood disorders, anxiety disorders, PTSD, and autism spectrum disorder.

Dr. Hallie Knopf is a board certified adult psychiatrist. She integrates a collaborative and holistic approach to establish strong therapeutic relationships and help patients achieve their goals. Dr. Knopf’s practice focuses on medication management. Typically, she offers this in conjunction with supportive or emotionally focused therapy in 30-minute follow-up visits. Occasionally Dr. Knopf may believe that additional therapy is also needed and ask that you bring a therapist into your care team to provide the best outcome.
