My holistic training in ketamine-assisted psychotherapy allows me to create a safe space that includes a spiritually-intentional set and setting for each journey I facilitate. I am a board-certified Pediatric and Adult Psychiatrist. Harvard, Mount Sinai, and Yale-trained, I have over twenty years of experience in psychopharmacology and psychotherapy working with complex cases in a variety of clinical settings. I have a holistic and integrative approach to my practice using art, positive psychiatry and mindfulness approaches. I use strength-based approaches to help you become more resilient and optimistic. I’m an artist (Parson’s grad) with a special interest in creativity and the arts as a healing modality. I work with professionals with burnout, depression, anxiety, and stress-related disorders.

I am an NYU trained and nationally certified Nurse Practitioner in Psychiatry. I offer Person-centered, holistic care while working collaboratively with clients. My theoretical leaning is Rogerian, which means that at each session you will experience unconditional positive regard, empathy and presence. I offer combined treatment, which means I see patients for medication management and psychotherapy. I am a board certified psychiatrist with over 40 years experience. I have treated all types of patients with psychiatric disorders. I specialize in Anxiety, Depression, Biplor Disorder and ADHD. I am friendly to the LBGTQ community and welcome a younger adult generation. We do not accommodate adolescents (ages 1-17) or geriatric patients 55 +. I am doing tele-vists so my ability to see patient's from other states is now available.

My goal in practice is to work together with each patient to develop a customized plan that will address their needs. I am a strong believer in psychotherapy and have experience in individual, group, couple and family therapy. However, when therapy has not provided adequate relief, medication management is always available. I will collaborate with patients to find the best treatment. I am also on faculty at Columbia University/ NYSPI and actively involved in research (specific areas include opioid dependence, pain and complicated grief). This experience allows me to integrate up to date treatment in my practice.
