Dr. Tara Thompson, DNP, PMHNP-BC is a Board Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner providing care to patients in Pennsylvania, New Jersey and New York. Dr. Tara started her career as a therapist after earning a Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology degree from Eastern University where she was trained in cognitive-behavioral therapy and systemic therapy. She later decided to change direction and pursue an education and career in nursing where she worked in cardiology and neurology.

I have also trained in psychodynamic psychotherapy , family and marital therapy and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. I have extensive training in both inpatient and outpatient psychiatry. I prefer to see patients for both psychotherapy and psychopharmacology, although I am open to working with other therapists. As well as residency training, she has also pursued further training in psychodynamic psychotherapy at the NYU psychoanalytic institute. I am a Board Certified psychiatrist with over twenty-five years of clinical experience since my graduation from residency, and I maintain practices in psychiatry in New York City, Sag Harbor, and Litchfield County, Connecticut. Patrick Haenlein, MD (pronouns: he/him) is a double-board certified Psychiatrist and Psychotherapist, who specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of mood, anxiety, and substance use disorders. He completed his general adult psychiatry training at Creedmoor Psychiatric Center and Columbia University Medical Center before continuing his education at Albert Einstein College of Medicine/Montefiore Medical Center where he completed his addiction psychiatry fellowship. Currently, he is an Attending Psychiatrist in the psychiatric emergency room at Mount Sinai West & Morningside Hospitals where he teaches medical students and residents.
