Dr. Tara Thompson, DNP, PMHNP-BC is a Board Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner providing care to patients in Pennsylvania, New Jersey and New York. Dr. Tara started her career as a therapist after earning a Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology degree from Eastern University where she was trained in cognitive-behavioral therapy and systemic therapy. She later decided to change direction and pursue an education and career in nursing where she worked in cardiology and neurology.

Jena M. Simon, DNP, is a Double Board-Certified nurse practitioner specializing in psychiatric mental health and family health. After graduating from Columbia University in 2010 as a Family and Oncology Nurse Practitioner, Dr. Simon worked in New York City at a large tertiary medical center caring for adults with sickle cell disease. In this role, she became attuned to the needs of people living with chronic illness and chronic pain.

Abigail Frimpong is a Board Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, Certified in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, and a Certified Autism Spectrum Disorder Clinical Specialist. Abigail is the CEO and the Founder of Mental Peace Psychiatry. Abigail has extensive experience working with vulnerable populations suffering from serious physical ailments with comorbid psychiatric, mental, behavioral, and substance use disorders in the emergency, inpatient and outpatient settings.

I am an NYU-educated, Board Certified Psych NP with 10 years experience providing authentic and non-judgmental nursing care. My practice focuses on the treatment of: depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, PTSD, OCD, ADHD, insomnia & substance use disorders. I trained in addiction treatment, med management & psychotherapeutic modalities and takes a holistic, individualized approach to treatment.
