Dr. Christine Reyes is a bilingual Spanish Adult Psychiatrist. She has 25 years of experience providing patients compassionate psychiatric care for anxiety, depressive and bipolar disorders, post-traumatic stress disorder, and many other psychiatric conditions.

Dr. Maria Tresa Carvajal is an adult, child, and adolescent psychiatrist. She is originally from Guayaquil, Ecuador, and is bilingual in Spanish and English. She completed her adult psychiatry residency at Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, BronxCare Health System and her fellowship in child and adolescent psychiatry at Northwell Health in New York. She has experience working in various settings including inpatient, outpatient, and the emergency department. Dr. Carvajal has submitted and presented work in the American Psychiatric Association and has also collaborated in a book publication.

Dr. Nina Jacobs is a board-certified child, adolescent and adult psychiatrist in practice for over 20 years. She attended the University of Chicago, Pritzker School of Medicine and completed her adult, child and adolescent training at NYU School of Medicine. She has additional training in psychodynamic psychotherapy at New York Psychoanalytic Institute. Dr. Jacobs believes understanding and compassion are fundamental to the doctor-patient relationship. With an engaged, optimistic style, she provides attentive, patient-centered care to reduce troubling symptoms and restore well-being.

I am an ANCC board-certified psychiatric nurse practitioner and clinical nurse specialist. I hold a Doctorate of Nursing Practice from the University of Florida, a Master of Science in Psychiatric Mental Health Nursing from the University of Florida and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Florida State University.

Dr. Yan graduated Phi Beta Kappa from Harvard University with honors in Economics. She holds a law degree from Harvard and was a practicing attorney before pursuing her medical education at New York University School of Medicine. While in medical school, she won the Best Research Presentation Award for the Jack Cary Eichenbaum Summer Scholars Program. She received her residency training in psychiatry at Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, where she served on the Mental Health Crisis Response Team during the Covid pandemic.

Dear future patients, my name is Chika Odili and I'm a board-certified nurse practitioner. I know we haven’t met yet, but when we do, please trust that you are in good hands. It is my absolute pleasure to assist in your care. I started my career doing an internship at a prestigious children’s hospital in the Texas Medical Center on an adolescent GI unit where I was able to work with individuals with eating related disorders. I then went on to complete my Bachelors in Nursing Degree and began working as a Registered Nurse in a Pediatric Unit caring for the psychiatric population.

Dr. Courtney Allen is double board-certified in adult and geriatric psychiatry and specializes in medication management and various psychotherapies to treat anxiety and depressive disorders. Dr. Allen completed her undergraduate studies at Spelman College and received her medical degree from the University of Alabama School of Medicine. She completed her adult psychiatry residency and geriatric psychiatry fellowship at Montefiore/Albert Einstein College of Medicine.

Dr. Jonathan Hertz is board-certified in adult psychiatry. He has also completed fellowships in child and adolescent and public psychiatry. He has been practicing psychiatry for over 18 years. Dr. Hertz's practice focuses on medication management which is offered with supportive and/or dynamic psychotherapy within 30-minute follow-up sessions. If patients have individual psychotherapists, Dr. Hertz will work collaboratively with these providers within a treatment-team approach to patient care delivery.

Dr. Jane Eisen comes to Talkiatry from her previous position at McLean Hospital in Boston, where she was Clinical Director of the Depression and Anxiety Division. Clinically, she has experience working with people with significant mood and anxiety difficulties. Dr. Eisen's practice focuses on using an integrated approach to the understanding and treatment of individuals' psychosocial stresses and psychiatric symptoms. She frequently suggests including a family member or friend in at least one session to get a comprehensive sense of each person's strengths and challenges.

We all walk a different path, but human emotion is universal. Sometimes our emotions become overwhelming and we feel buried by them, paralyzed. I know this because I've been down those roads and I've come out the other side. My formal training makes me qualified to provide treatment, but my life experiences make me capable of providing care. As a member of the LGBTQ community, nonjudgement is my top priority. I offer a genuinely safe space for ALL.

Dr. Mullenix is a board-certified adult psychiatrist who strives to form strong therapeutic and collaborative environments with patients and values patient empowerment. Dr. Mullenix received his medical degree from the Chicago Medical School and then went on to complete his residency in psychiatry at Advocate Lutheran General Hospital. His interests and expertise are in helping patients struggling with depression, anxiety including social/obsessive compulsive and generalized anxiety disorders and ADHD. He provides psychiatric medication management along with supportive, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and other modalities.

Dr. Susan Kim is a board certified psychiatrist who was born and raised in Queens, NY. She has spent much of her time in the North East and is currently residing in New Jersey with her spouse and dog, Luna. Dr. Kim began her medical training at Temple University in Philadelphia, completed her psychiatric residency at Stony Brook University Hospital where she was chief resident for her final year.

Dr. Lee Dockery serves as a general pscyhiatry provider for Talkiatry since joining in August 2022. He is board-eligible with expected certification in fall 2022, with further addiction psychiatry board-certification expected in 2023. He has been training and practicing psychiatry since 2018. Dr. Dockery’s practice emphasizes medication management within a therapy-informed framework, utilizing skills from Acceptance and Commitment therapy, mindfulness based therapies, motivation interviewing, and supportive therapy. Typically, he offers 60-minute new visits and 30-minute follow-up visits.

Dr. Samuel Russell is a psychiatrist at Talkiatry. He is board certified in Addiction Psychiatry and Adult Psychiatry. Dr. Russell’s practice focuses on evidence based treatments for psychiatric illness that utilizes a combination of medications and psychotherapy modalities best suited for an individual patient and their needs. He offers this in conjunction with supportive or emotionally focused therapy in 30-minute follow-up visits. Weekly hour-long psychotherapy may be available if indicated. However, occasionally Dr. Russell may believe that different therapy is also needed and ask that you bring a therapist into your care team.

Dr. Jisoo Park is a board-certified psychiatrist. She obtained her bachelor's degree from Tufts University, where she double majored in Biopsychology and Art History. She attended medical school at Nova Southeastern University, and completed her psychiatry residency at Stony Brook University Medical Center. After graduating residency, she was appointed clinical assistant professor at Renaissance School of Medicine, where she worked at Treatment Resistant Depression Clinic. She was involved in teaching medical students and residents, and was part of various research studies and and publications.

Dr. Yacoub has expertise in complex mood disorders, psychotic disorders, interventional psychiatry, and advanced psychopharmacology. Dr. Yacoub focuses on the interconnectivity of the mind, body, and soul. In addition to medication management, he is proficient in supportive and interpersonal psychotherapy. He has treated adults, geriatric patients and diverse populations including and veterans. He is dedicated and empathetic to all his patients.

I am an ANCC board-certified Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with over seven years of experience in psychiatry. I received my Master of Science in Nursing from Hunter College, trained at Long Island Jewish Medical Center and worked as a Psychiatric Consultation Liason at Northwell Health at Long Island Medical Center.

Leela Vasileff is a board-certified adult psychiatrist. Dr. Vasileff's practice focuses on medication management. Typically, she offers this in conjunction with various psychotherapy techniques. Occasionally, Dr. Vasileff may believe that additional therapy is needed and ask that you bring a therapist into your care team to help you achieve your goals.

Kerry truly believes that being present and forming a team approach with patients is one of the most important aspects of patient care. Realizing that each patient is unique, working together with patients towards their goals, while being passionate about individual empowerment allows my skills to become another instrument they can use to navigate their lives.
