My approach to mental health follows a holistic and wellness model. I believe each individual is unique and aim to preserve that uniqueness when comprising a treatment plan. One of the most important factors in treatment is comprising the treatment plan together with a shared decision making model. My goal is to help sustain mental wellness over the course of life so that you can live in your most authentic way. I’m also fluent in English, Punjabi, Hindi, and Urdu, which aids in my goal to provide individualized, culturally-competent care.

I completed my residency training at Albany Medical center, Albany in 2007 and since then have been practicing as an adult psychiatrist . I have many years of experience working with populations dealing with Depression, Bipolar d/o ,Mood disorders, Anxiety d/o, OCD, PTSD, Trauma and sleep disorders. I am just starting tele-psychiatry and accepting new clients.

Dr. Jamil graduated from King Edward Medical University in Lahore, Pakistan. During his electives at Yale University, he developed an interest in research. Later, he joined a research team on Alzheimer’s disease at New York University, where he published a few research articles including two book chapters on Alzheimer’s disease. After residency, he completed a fellowship in Addiction Psychiatry at Bronx-Lebanon Hospital. He later moved to New Jersey and became Medical Director of a psychiatry unit at Christ Hospital - Carepoint Health, while also working in private practice

Nidhin Samuel places a strong emphasis on creating a safe environment in which you can work toward developing and strengthening mental health and maintenance. She serves the public by preventing, identifying, and treating psychiatric conditions. She enjoys assisting and providing care through telehealth in an integrated practice, building and fortifying care accessible to you. Sessions are personalized, targeted, and integrative. I am dual board certified child, adolescent and adult psychiatrist. Dr. Goel holds the position of Staff Psychiatrist at Talkiatry. She has completed adult psychiatry training and is board eligible. She has been actively involved in mental health care in various capacities over the past 7 years. Dr. Goel's practice focuses on psychopharmacological interventions. Typically, she combines this with a strong emphasis on Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT). Dr. Goel also strongly believes that the best outcomes are achieved, when you treat a person and not just illness.

Dr. Osman Athar is board certified in General Psychiatry and board eligible in Consult-Liaison Psychiatry. He graduated with a Bachelors of Arts in English from Rice University, from McGovern Medical School for his medical doctorate and went on to complete Psychiatry residency at the University of Texas-Houston where he served as a chief resident. Afterwards, he completed fellowship in Consult-Liaison Psychiatry at Louisiana State University - Ochsner Medical Center in New Orleans.

Dr. Agarwal is a board-eligible adult psychiatrist. He was elected chief resident from his residency program at the University of Central Florida. He graduated cum laude from the American University of Antigua where he obtained his medical degree, and received a bachelor's degree in Biological Sciences from the University of California at Irvine.

I am a board certified adult psychiatrist with additional training in mind-body medicine. I have over 15 years of experience in NY/NJ treating patients in university hospitals, in both inpatient and outpatient settings. I also serve as an expert consultant to psychiatrists, primary care doctors, and therapists for patients who need a thorough evaluation for the appropriateness of medications. I distinguish myself by having a collaborative, practical approach to treatment - all your interactions are directly with me , no administrators or secretaries are involved.
