I'm a Columbia University-trained psychiatrist focusing on women's mental wellness. In addition to my expertise in general and addiction psychiatry, I'm one of a few doctors with specialized training in women's mental health and reproductive psychiatry. I provide highly personalized and empathic treatment to women throughout the reproductive life cycle. I believe in treating both body and mind through mindful breathing and meditation in addition to talk therapy and the most up-to-date medication treatments. I treat patients with mood and anxiety symptoms, chronic pelvic pain, trauma, ADHD, addiction and eating disorders.

Dr. Stefan has vast experience in multiple psychiatric care settings including outpatient care, inpatient care, and assertive community treatment and has served as medical director for large institutions, serving a wide range of complex mental illnesses. Dr. Gloria J. Rodriguez is an Adult Psychiatrist based in New York. She has over 18 years of experience. Her focus is the treatment of Depression and Anxiety disorders using a combination of medication management and psychotherapy. Before joining Talkiatry Dr. Rodriguez served as the Vice Chair for the Department of Psychiatry at Mount Sinai Morningside and West Hospitals.

Dr. Escamilla is a graduate of Harvard College and the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School. He completed his psychiatry training at the University of California at San Francisco and also completed a research fellowship with the American Psychiatric Association.

I’m a board certified psychiatrist who specializes in women’s mental health. This includes emotional and psychological problems during pregnancy, postpartum, perinatal losses, infertility and premenstrual dysphoric disorder. I pursue a residency in OBGYN in Argentina and a residency in Adult Psychiatry and Fellowship in Consultation Liaison Psychiatry at Montefiore Medical Center in The Bronx, NY. I worked and taught at Montefiore Medical Group and Zucker Hillside Hospital were I served as the Physician in Charge of the Perinatal Program.

Dr. Osman Athar is board certified in General Psychiatry and board eligible in Consult-Liaison Psychiatry. He graduated with a Bachelors of Arts in English from Rice University, from McGovern Medical School for his medical doctorate and went on to complete Psychiatry residency at the University of Texas-Houston where he served as a chief resident. Afterwards, he completed fellowship in Consult-Liaison Psychiatry at Louisiana State University - Ochsner Medical Center in New Orleans.

Dr. Maria Tresa Carvajal is an adult, child, and adolescent psychiatrist. She is originally from Guayaquil, Ecuador, and is bilingual in Spanish and English. She completed her adult psychiatry residency at Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, BronxCare Health System and her fellowship in child and adolescent psychiatry at Northwell Health in New York. She has experience working in various settings including inpatient, outpatient, and the emergency department. Dr. Carvajal has submitted and presented work in the American Psychiatric Association and has also collaborated in a book publication.

Dr. Ernesto Gonzalez is a board certified adult psychiatrist. He completed his undergraduate training at Yale University and received his medical degree from the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine. He completed his residency training at the Cambridge Health Alliance/Harvard Medical School Adult Psychiatry Training Program. Dr. Gonzalez prefers a holistic approach that takes the time to know the whole patient, incorporating biological, psychological, social, and cultural perspectives in crafting a comprehensive, individualized, treatment plan.
