I am a board certified adult and child psychiatrist, and I'm also board certified in integrative and holistic medicine. I treat anxiety, attention, and mood difficulties, including adult and child ADHD, obsessive-compulsive disorder, social anxiety, panic attacks, trauma, and depression. When necessary, I recommend medication, with the lowest effective doses. I recommend traditional and natural treatments along with practical suggestions about communication, lifestyle, and stress management. I am on faculty at NYU School of Medicine.

Dr. Inano is a board-certified adult psychiatrist. She obtained her bachelor’s in psychology from Xavier University in New Orleans, before obtaining her medical degree from University of California Davis. She then went on to complete a general psychiatry residency at the University of Texas at Austin Dell School of Medicine. Prior to making the transition to private practice, Dr. Inano worked within the Veterans Affairs healthcare system.

While most psychiatrists provide only medication management, I offer patients a combination of psychopharmacology and psychotherapy. I believe that medications facilitate therapy, in that they allow us just enough distance from our emotions for therapy to take hold and grow. I hold a Doctorate of Nursing Practice from the University of Florida, a Master of Science in Psychiatric Mental Health Nursing from the University of Florida and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Florida State University.

Dr. Cindy Rossetti is board certified in Adult Psychiatry. She has been practicing for over 13 years. Dr. Rossetti received her medical degree from The University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences in Little Rock. She completed her general psychiatry residency at University of Kentucky in Lexington where she was chief resident. She worked at Eastern State Hospital in Kentucky treating severe and persistent mental illness. She spent most of her post graduate time providing outpatient care in a rural and underserved area of Arkansas.

Dr. Blake Werner is an adult and addiction psychiatry board-certified physician who has been in practice for the past 4 years. He received his medical degree from Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center in Lubbock, TX, before moving to charming Charleston, SC to complete his residency in adult psychiatry. Following residency, Dr. Werner completed a fellowship in addiction psychiatry at Yale School of Medicine. Post-fellowship, Dr. Werner joined the Yale faculty as an assistant professor and was employed through the Veterans Affairs, treating substance use disorders in an outpatient clinical setting.

I received my Bachelors Degree from the University of Pennsylvania, where I majored in the Biological Basis of Behavior and competed on the Men's Varsity Swimming Team. After graduating and prior to medical school, I became a private high school science teacher. I completed my Psychiatry residency at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai in NYC, where I was selected as Chief Resident. During that time, I also completed a Psychodynamic Fellowship at New York Psychoanalytic Society and Institute. I then completed a Clinical Research Fellowship at the National Institute of Mental Health with a focus on Depression and Anxiety.

Dr. Megan Freeman is board certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology in Adult Psychiatry. She completed her residency training at Vidant Medical Center at East Carolina University in Greenville, North Carolina in 2021 where she was the chief resident. Since then, she has worked as an attending physician at an inpatient adult psychiatric unit in Burlington, North Carolina. As a resident and attending she has treated adults of all ages and in all areas of mental health.

My goal is to create an environment that is comfortable, empathetic, safe, and non-judgmental. My approach is informed by my work as a public interest attorney and witnessing the ways in which many aspects of life (housing, work, economic security, racial identity, gender identity, and sexuality) impact mental health. I take a strength-based approach that is client-centered and work with clients to determine what tools work best for them at the time. Healing is not always linear. I hope to create a space that feels supportive no matter where a person is in their journey.

Dr. Jennifer Shoenfelt is a double board-certified child and adolescent psychiatrist and adult psychiatrist. Her practice focuses on child and adolescent medication management. Typically, she offers this in conjunction with supportive or emotionally focused therapy in 30-minute follow-up visits. However, occasionally Dr. Shoenfelt may believe that additional therapy is needed and will ask that you bring a therapist into your care team to provide the best outcome. She provides treatment plans that include holistic recommendations that include diet, exercise, educational and psychosocial/spiritual aspects of care.

I specialize in working with clients who are going through some trying time in their lives - relationship stress/breakup, career frustration, health problems, or any life crisis. Sometimes this is a new issue and for others it can be a new event that triggers a long-standing issue. Either way, I work to stabilize symptoms as quickly as possible with medications as needed but also through diet and exercise. I then try to teach my clients how to avoid a return of their symptoms.

I am a Clinical Professor of Psychiatry at the Mount Sinai School of Medicine and a Psychoanalyst trained at the Columbia University Psychoanalytic Institute. I have over 25 years experience treating people suffering from anxiety, depression, panic and bipolar disorders and schizophrenia. Dr. Matthew Koller is a board-certified adult psychiatrist who is joining the Talkiatry team as a staff psychiatrist after completion of his psychiatry residency. Dr. Koller believes that a person must be known before they are treated, and he works with patients to understand their goals of care while prioritizing a collaborative treatment approach. His practice focuses on medication management, however he allows space for supportive therapy and other therapeutic modalities within sessions. He may include a therapist in the treatment plan for optimal care.
