I offer telehealth, in-person, and in-home services to accommodate patient needs. I practice general psychiatry for patients 13 years of age and older.

I am a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner fully licensed in Ohio. I have experience working with adult, adolescent, and geriatric populations in high-acuity inpatient and outpatient settings. In addition, I have experience assessing, diagnosing, educating, and treating mental health patients ages 5-99.

I am Board Certified in Adult Psychiatry and have been practicing since 2005. I completed my residency from Tufts University in Boston, Massachusetts and my Fellowship in Addictions from the Robert Johnson Wood Foundation. In 2014, I was featured in SJ Magazine as one of New Jersey’s top psychiatrists. I have experience working with adults as well as adolescents suffering from both psychiatric diagnosis and substance use disorders and have extensive experience working in both out-patient and in-patient settings.

My primary goal as a physician is to work with patients to establish and implement the treatment plan that best suits them. Working in a collaborative fashion with the use of therapy, medications, or a combination of both, I seek to help people improve relationships and pursue lives they find meaningful.

Dr. Dlugosz has over a decade of experience with the treatment of eating disorders and their psychiatric co-morbidities in adolescents and adults. Dr. Dlugosz has vast experience in a variety of treatment settings, in multiple levels of care, including tele-health.  She values partnering with patients and their supports in building an inclusive, compassionate and collaborative relationship throughout the assessment and treatment process as patients build a values-driven life outside of their eating disorder.

I've been a practicing psychiatric nurse since 1994 and as Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner since 2005. Many areas of treatment have included mood disorders, anxiety, PTSD/trauma related issues and eating disorders. Working at many different levels of care, including inpatient, outpatient, partial hospitalization, and intensive outpatient has allowed me to see mental health at a variety of intensities. I believe in the motivation of the individual and integrating with their health care team to allow the individual to function at the highest level. The body, mind, and environment operate as a whole. You can’t treat a symptom without addressing the root cause. Extra time allows me to be thorough, listen to your story without interrupting, and discuss treatment plans in detail. This allows me to provide higher quality care and enables you to feel heard and understood in a way you may never have felt before.

Most of my clients are queer, neurodivergent, chronically ill, and/or disabled. They may seek help with transition concerns, psychiatric medication, identifying/confirming a diagnosis, or therapy/support for living in a society that's a poor fit. The use of ketamine for mental health symptoms falls into two broad frameworks – a pharmaceutical/biochemical framework and ketamine-assisted psychotherapy (KAP). The pharmaceutical/biochemical framework has a neurobiological approach that often employs low intravenous dosing by an anesthesiologist with no therapy or mental health support. The contents of the experience or talking about interpersonal issues aren’t the focus of the treatment. Ketamine-assisted psychotherapy (KAP) is a method where moderate to high doses of ketamine are delivered with the intention of altering consciousness to facilitate psychotherapy & change.
