I am currently scheduling new patients for initial psychiatric evaluations and medication management. We additionally have psychotherapists (within our network at Rittenhouse Psychiatric Associates) whom we collaborate with if indicated. I have over a decade of experience working in the mental health field, including working as a mental health resource specialist at Massachusetts General Hospital (2003-2008), The Johns Hopkins Hospital in both clinical and supervisor roles (2009-2012) and have instructed at The University of Pennsylvania (where I completed my training including certification to prescribe psychiatric medications).

I specialize in the treatment of anxiety disorders, reproductive and menopause related mood changes, and insomnia, as well as relationship difficulties and life transitions. I also specialize in treating physicians with anxiety and depression, and write and speak about mental health. My treatment plan may include medications, psychotherapy, sleep training including CBT for Insomnia (CBT-I), and relaxation exercises, among other techniques.

Her appointment as a Senior Lecturer, teaching pharmacology and pathophysiology at the University of Pennsylvania School of Nursing allows her to stay current with evidence-based diagnosis and treatment of psychiatric conditions, as well as other medical conditions.

Erin Bahmer, PMHNP People heal in relationships. The foundation of Erin's practice starts with this fundamental belief. Nicole Carissimi, PMHNP-BC, is a board-certified mental health nurse practitioner. She is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner program and completed her clinical work at Presbyterian Hospital and Pennsylvania Hospital. As a registered nurse, Nicole has worked in the areas of neurosurgery, intensive care, and hospice. Nicole first came to Philadelphia in 2006 to attend nursing school at Drexel University, and fell in love with the city and never left. She enjoys working with adults, with a special interest in substance abuse.

Christina is a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) and former Clinical Social Worker who combines empathy and a strong understanding of psychopharmacology to provide comprehensive mental health treatment. With over 26 years of healthcare experience, 19 of which were spent in the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, Sharon is a reliable psychiatric mental health support resource. She specializes in treating adolescents and adults struggling with Anxiety, Depression, ADD,Stress mental health challenges. Sharon is a passionate advocate for the importance of mental health, believing that patients can become empowered to make the right decisions for themselves with the right coping skills.

Dr. Seetha Chandrasekhara is a Psychiatrist in Pennsylvania who has been practicing since 2018. She completed her undergraduate studies in Behavioral Neuroscience at Lehigh University. After college, she attended medical school at Temple. and stayed on at Temple to complete her residency in general psychiatry and serve as Chief Resident her last year. While in residency, she completed a master's in Urban Bioethics, and she went on to complete her geriatric psychiatry fellowship at the University of Pennsylvania. Dr. Chandrasekhara is board certified in General Psychiatry and Geriatric Psychiatry.
