Trained at Harvard, Johns Hopkins, and the University of Pennsylvania, I have been in the clinical practice of psychiatry, psychotherapy, and psychopharmacology in the Philadelphia area for over forty years, and provide crisis-intervention, consultation and short- and long-term therapy for children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families. I have extensive experience in the treatment of psychosomatic and eating disorders, depression and suicidal behavior, anxiety, psychosis, sexual and physical abuse, and addictions, among other problems, and also provide consultation and ongoing clinical supervision for mental health professionals of all disciplines.

I am a board-certified Adult Psychiatrist with extensive experience treating Depression, Anxiety, and other Mood disorders. I work closely with my clients to create personalized treatment plans that include therapy, management of co-occurring medical conditions, and prescribing psychotropic medications when appropriate. For the last 20 years, I have been providing services at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital, Bryan Psychiatric Hospital, Albert Einstein Medical Center (AEMC), various Community Mental Health Centers in Philadelphia. Dr. Yi completed an Adult Psychiatry Residency at The Johns Hopkins Hospital and a Fellowship in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP). He has presented both nationally and internationally and has over a dozen peer-reviewed publications. He was Attending Psychiatry at CHOP and Adjunct Assistant Professor at University of Pennsylvania.
